Public Employment Service
The Public Employment Service (AMS) offers a wide range of services and support for jobseekers and employers. In the area of labour migration, the AMS decides over admission to the labour market according to the Act Governing the Employment of Foreign Nationals (AuslBG). The AMS also examines whether the criteria for the grant of a Red-White-Red Card are fulfilled.
Chamber of Labour
The Chamber of Labour represents the interests of 3 million employees and consumers in Austria and co-operates closely with the Austrian Trade Union Federation. Services: Information and advice on different issues such as labour law, social insurance, tax law and consumer protection.
Austrian Federal Economic Chamber
The responsibility of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber is to represent the interests of all Austrian businesses, to consult them and to communicate knowledge. The Austrian Chambers of Commerce has about 400.000 member businesses.
Austrian Trade Union Federation
The Austrian Trade Union Federation is an interest group for employees, founded on voluntary membership. Its main tasks are the achievement of the most favourable working-, income- and social conditions. To this purpose the Trade Union Federation negotiates and signs about 520 collective agreements, is involved in shaping the political circumstances and offers a great variety of information and advice to employees.
Federation of Austrian Industries
The Federation of Austrian Industries (IV) is a voluntary body representing the interests of Austrian industries that currently consists of about 3,500 members. Its central goal is to advocate for its members in a targeted and sustainable manner. Besides business and economic matters, migration is one of its core topics.
Austrian Integration Fund
The Austrian Integration Fund (ÖIF) supports the linguistic, professional and social integration of migrants and recognized refugees through its 5 offices located all over Austria. Furthermore, the Austrian Integration Fund provides, by organizing events and publishing numerous studies, objective information for the receiving society about facts and figures on issues related to integration and migration.
